See how it works. Trained volunteers protect donor investment.
United Way of the CSRA Citizens Review panels are composed entirely of community volunteers and are responsible for visiting United Way's partner agencies annually to review the funded programs and services as well as make funding recommendations bi-yearly in our Community Investment Process. These panels are vital in maintaining United Way agency credibility and accountability to the community while ensuring the community outcomes are being effectively evaluated.

COMMUNITY GUIDELINES
Engage with us, and help us grow, but do so respectfully.
United Way’s website is a place to participate in conversations about the health of our community and how United Way is working with our partners to create pathways out of poverty for those most in need. We welcome all feedback and comments, but have posted these policies to create a respectful and inclusive environment for all visitors.
Comment Guidelines
We welcome comments; your ideas and concerns are important.
To maintain a respectful dialogue, these are our guidelines for our entire site, to include our community blog:
-
Be respectful. United Way does not permit the use of foul language, personal attacks, aggressive behavior or terms that target specific ethnic or racial groups. Instigating arguments in a disrespectful way is also prohibited.
-
Tell the truth. Spreading unsupported accusations or false information is prohibited.
-
No spam or product endorsements. We will not post comments that are spam, are clearly off topic, or that promote services or products outside of our Caring Club merchant partnerships.
Comment Moderation
Comments are reviewed before they are posted to ensure they meet the above standards.
-
We will review, post and respond to comments in a timely manner. Constructive criticism is welcome.
-
We may not be able to respond to every comment but we will read all of them.
-
If you have a donor- or donation-related question, contact our office at 706-724-5544 or at info@uwcsra.org. These avenues will allow your questions and concerns to be delivered to an experienced United Way team member in a timely manner.
